Kristianstads nation is unique - we are the only student organisation who organizes a beer fair!

Here at Krischan we think it's important that our beer has great quality and taste. Therefore our main focus at our beer fair is to highlight local micro breweries. Every fall we invite a number of micro breweries who gets to show off their assortments of beers. Our visitors also gets to vote on which beer they liked the most - the winner gets to join the nation's own assortment!
The concept has been around since 2017 when the then current pubmaster Peter Hang founded the beer fair. For him it was important that taste and concept should be in the spotlight, and also contribute to a healthy drinking culture. Han ville lyfta det intresse som studenter har för hantverksöl.
"There is a huge interest of craft beer among students. Since we have student prices you'll get the chance to try beer you otherwise wouldn't be able to afforde."
